No matter what age, we always look for a role model whom we can emulate.

Sadly, some of these role models let us down. In the US, a random poll found that teenagers could tell what Paris Hilton, Nicole Ritchie or Lindsay Lohan wore to the Grammies or who costarred in their movies, but failed miserably when asked to name the 50 states.

This kind of attraction to the wild and the reckless is dangerous because their Hollywood princesses live in a make-believe world.

Have you wondered what makes such privileged girls go off-tangent and land themselves in jail? Do you blame their parents, the Western lifestyle or some intrinsic character flaw?

Let us examine their faces to see if any weakness can be clearly seen.

Paris Hilton

Hilton, 26, heiress to the Hilton Hotel Empire is rich and beautifuL with parents that appear to be supportive.

Her face has a few distinctive features: narrow, hooded eyes, pronounced square jawline and a long narrow neck.

Her date of birth (Feb 17, 1981) indicates she is a child of Fate, born under the influence of Saturn. She is lucky by birth (apparently) and can be destined for greatness and fame. At the moment, it does not seem so as all she has achieved is infamy.

The first impression of Hilton is of a wilful, arrogant girl who is vain and totally self-absorbed.

Her hooded, narrow eyes reveal a crafty and conniving person who is secretive and vindictive.

Her square jawline reveals a domineering person who is stubborn and defiant. Her tightly pursed lips have a perpetual disdainful smirk. She is self-opinionated and difficult to control.

Her long, thin neck supporting such a disproportionately large head shows that she has grandiose plans but does not have the grit, or drive to realise her grand plans and she can end her days a very disappointed person.

Though she has a “wooden” expression, Hilton is in fact very emotional. Flashes of this were seen when she was spirited into the car to serve her 45-day jail term for probation violation, due to a Driving Under Influence (DUI) charge.

Nicole Ritchie

Her friend, Ritchie, is another Wild One who keeps the gossip tabloids busy.

The adopted daughter of pop icon Lionel Ritchie is not short of talent. She plays the piano, cello, guitar and violin and had a short stint of success with her band, Darling, and co-starred with Hilton in The Simple Life.

But her lack of self control has landed her in trouble with the law and a prison term – albeit, for just 82 minutes.

Her lasciviousness is apparent in her bulging “wolf eyes” and her weak, red lips that are the unmistakable badge of heightened sensuality.

And as if that was not enough, another Hollywood princess fell into disgrace when she was hauled up by the police on a DUI charge with some heroine found in her car.

Lindsay Lohan

Lohan, born to Wall Street parents, found early fame in clean-imaged movies.

Born with a lucky birth date – July 2, 1981 – Lohan is however not out of the woods yet as she will face two more years of setbacks and challenges which, hopefully, she will face with courage.

Her birth date, rounded face and large voluptuous features indicate a person who is sensitive, emotional and easily influenced.

The divorce of her parents is said to have destabilised her. She is emotionally weak and always needs strong support from her family.

Look into her big, soft eyes and you will see the helpless child in them. Hopefully, she does not make the mistake of a rash marriage

It is wise to remember that heroes are only human too – with strengths and weaknesses. It is how you magnify your strengths and control your weaknesses that make one a person to be admired.

May Lee (Sept 25, 1958)
May Lee, 49, has a similar jaw and neck to Paris Hilton. She is domineering but does not have the spirit to achieve her ambitions. However, she has a determined mouth, dubbed “fish mouth”, which reveals a persistent person who does not give up in the face of adversity. This is a plus point for May as it means that by sheer grit and determination, she will realise her ambitions. Her square jawline reveals reliability. If May learns to accept her limitations she will attain emotional balance in her life.

Teress (Feb 18, 1953)

Teress, 54, has a square jaw which shows her generous nature. Her jawline is fleshy, giving her a softer nature. However, this has made her cheeks fuller which adds a negative trait of avarice to her character. She has to watch this less attractive character from developing as it can overshadow her benevolent and kind nature.
