We have learnt to expect the unexpected in Celebville.

But some things are just utterly ridiculous.

And this latest chat is one of them things.

Paris Hilton is the modern-day version of Princess Diana - according to Dame Helen Mirren.

She said: "I don't applaud Paris Hilton... but I think she's pretty cool.

"She's developed, like Princess Diana, that deliberate foolishness, which is disarming."

Princess DianaAnd Helen ain't the only one to pick on similarities between the two blondies.

Paris has been flapping her gums about it for a while now.

This we can believe, but Helen too? Well, we're kinda flabbergasted.

Anyhoo, Paris reckons she's the next in line of uber-famous blondes.

She said last year: "I think every decade has an iconic blonde - like Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana - and right now, I'm that icon."
