Sarah Silverman Talks Paris Hilton

We know Sarah Silverman makes a living out taking cheap digs at celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears but the comedian had some kind words for the hotel heiress after she was ridiculed by David Letterman on Friday's Late Show.

Silverman – who received mixed reviews after she called Spears’ two children “adorable mistakes” at the MTV Video Music Awards last month – claims that Hilton handled herself well on the show.

"I thought she handled herself well," Silverman told USA Today.

But the 36-year-old also had some kind words for Letterman, who managed to make Hilton squirm during an interview where he poked fun at her short stint in jail.

"I love Dave. The old Letterman was back a little bit. He was being a hilarious pain. I thought it was like old, classic Dave."

Silverman also discussed her comments about Spears at the VMA’s and although embarrassed, she maintains that she’s “over it.”

"My instinct is to answer honestly. People keep saying I'm still talking about it, but I'm not the one bringing it up. I'm over it. I loved the jokes."
