Why Is Reese Ranting?

We heard that Reese Witherspoon has gone and gotten her knickers in a twist.

But what is it that's getting her goat?

It seems the blonde beauty is sick to the back teeth of certain female celebrities who seek fame for the wrong reasons.

Headline-hoggers Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears came under fire in Reese's rant, as bad role models for women, according to The Metro.

She said: "We don't need to keep reading about female celebrities who are out there posing all the time and craving attention and exploiting the sex-symbol stereotype.

"My mother and grandmother fought incredibly hard against a male establishment to become high achievers in their lives.

"I think women should be able to be sexy and smart and successful - without being silly and aimless."

Right on Reese. We're off to burn our bras.
