The Marilyn Monroe's Secret “Sex Tape” Hoax

Yesterday, the New York Post reported that a 15-minute hardcore sex tape starring Marilyn Monroe not only existed, but was just sold to a New York collector for $1.5 million.

The story got weirder when it was mentioned that the new owner of the footage actually bought it from the son of a deceased FBI informant and out of respect for Marilyn, he was not going to put in on the Internet. “I'm not going to make a Paris Hilton out of her. I'm not going to sell it, out of respect,” the businessman said. Really? If his intentions are so altruistic, why did he allow the story to be publicized, especially with all the sordid details around it?

The newspapers broke the story after Keya Morgan’s interview for the NY Post. Morgan is known within the circle of Monroe’s memorabilia collectors for being “a sycophantic, press hungry namedropper whose main objective is to promote himself and the Monroe documentary that he is working on,” Defamer.com reports.

Morgan did not reveal the names of either the seller or buyer of the “secret tape” and he was not able to provide evidence that the alleged sale actually happened.

According to Defamer.com, Marilyn Monroe testified in court on June 26, 1952, in order to defend herself from allegations that a mail order pornography ring was selling pictures of her. Her lawyer debunked the claims and the pictures, and the two men who created the hoax were found guilty of misdemeanor charges.

56 years later, 38-year-old Morgan spawned rumors of a footage said to be Monroe engaging in oral sex with an unknown man in the early 1950s. The story follows last month’s Marilyn scandal, in which a man from Las Vegas claimed he was in the possession of a photo of nude Monroe. However, it turned out to be Madonna, as Monroe posed nude only for photographer Tom Kelley on May 27, 1949.

Defamer.com also mentioned that in an interview over the phone with Morgan, he only spoke of his planned television documentary of conspiracy theories into Monroe's death, and he claimed he was a friend of all three Marilyn Monroe’s husbands. Of course, he was a namedropper regarding people who could support his conspiracy theories.

Keya Morgan claims to respect Marilyn Monroe and says he would not have gotten his name involved if there was harm to the famous actress. Then, he gives us details, mentioning that Marilyn is clothed and the man’s head remains out of the frame for the entire film. “You see instantly that it's Marilyn Monroe - she has the famous mole,” Morgan told the NY Post. He also used words like “radiant” and “charming” to describe Marilyn’s looks in the supposed 15-minute film.

If Morgan was looking to protect Monroe’s image, why would he not keep the tape safely in his own collection? Moreover, if this is a copy of a classified FBI film, why would the FBI allow the story to go public? How long until the Marilyn Monroe sex-tape hits the Internet? Well, never…Because the footage does not exist!
