Paris Hilton Releases Footwear Line

Paris Hilton knows her name sells, that's why she's using it for her latest project, the 'Paris Hilton Footwear.'

According to the 26-year-old celebutante, the new line of shoes is for fashionistas who want to looks like a million dollars "without spending a fortune."

"I have always loved shoes, and after working on my recently launched sportswear and fragrance lines, this seemed like a natural next step," she says. "Paris Hilton Footwear is perfect for the fashion-forward young woman who wants to look and feel great from head-to-toe, without spending a fortune."

Hilton's signature color will be incorporated in the shoes' soles; light pink for the spring and summer range, hot pink for the fall and winter collection. The packaging is an environmentally conscious box made from recycled materials, which has built-in handles, thereby reducing the need for shopping bags.

'The Simple Life' star's publicist releases a statement concerning about the footgear line. "Paris wanted to ensure that no attention to detail was missed. She made sure that each and every pair of shoes not only looks great, but also feels comfortable, so each shoe features a heart-shaped comfort pad sewn into the inner sole, making every step like walking on air."

The Paris Hilton Footwear Collection is sold at Macy's, Kitson, and boutiques across the country. Suggested retail price ranges from $59 to $195.
