Hilton Follows Boyfriend To Pigeon Forge For Fourth

Paris Hilton could not resist being away from her boyfriend on July Fourth.

The reality show star made a surprise appearance Friday at WWFT-FM's Star Jam Concert. She stayed backstage during the show, shooting video of her boyfriend Benji Madden, lead guitarist of the band Good Charlotte.

The band performed at the Star Jam concert in front of 60,000 visitors.

Hilton told the News Sentinel that she arrived late Friday afternoon to be with her boyfriend during the holiday.

Hilton was sporting black short-shorts, a white T-shirt, a black hat adorned with a belt buckle and oversized sunglasses trimmed in white.

Because of their late arrival to Knoxville, Hilton and Madden ran late for the show, even with a police escort.

After the concert Hilton and Madden retreated to a camper where they avoided crowds.

Madden's twin brother and lead singer, Joel Madden, signed autographs for fans nearby. Despite reports, Joel Madden's girlfriend and Hilton's TV buddie, Nicole Richie, was not at the show.
