NY Post To Paris Hilton: Liar! July 19, 2008 Paris Hilton's campaign to regain her position in the
tabloid hierarchy seems to be working. Hilton recently fired
a shot at the New York Post's Page Six gossip column. Writing from
her MySpace blog, she claimed the column fabricated an item about her
moving next door to BFF Nicole Ritchie. "It's so not true,"
she wailed, vowing to swat down rumors about her from now on. Not so
fast. The Post's Paula Froelich bites back. In its July 16 column, Page Six responds: SAY this for Paris Hilton - she actually believes the lies she tells. Yesterday, the celebutard claimed on her blog to "set the record straight" and denied our stories about her moving next to Nicole Richie and trying unsuccessfully to buy a dog from a Melrose Avenue pet store. But having dealt with Hilton for years, we know better than to take her word for anything. When we saw her several years ago ordering vodka with no ice, she later insisted it was water. It wasn't. When we wrote that her ring from ex-fiancé Paris Latsis was a fake, she vowed to send us a certificate of authenticity. She never did. When we wrote that the parents of her ex, Stavros Niarchos, refused to meet her or be in pictures with her, she vowed to send us the photos, but they never came. When we wrote that she once smoked marijuana in front of our staff, she said she'd take a drug test. We're still waiting. No wonder that now, even the least suspicious of flacks won't rep her. So, Paris, we'll leave you with this: Just because you say something doesn't make it true. No response from Paris yet on that or on another recent
column item that reported she is so desperate to get back into the tabs
that she has quit clubbing and drinking and is trying to jump on the
baby train with Ritchie and other celebrity moms. From-http://www.theimproper.com/Template_Article.aspx?IssueId=4&ArticleId=1929
