Paris Hilton's Mom Kathy Stars As Tom Cruise's Wife

The fabulous Katie Holmes will have to share the wife spotlight with Paris Hilton's mom Kathy, at least on the big screen. According to a report from In Touch, mom is Tom Cruise's wife in a film due out this summer and she has kept her role a secret since the filming last year.

In Touch reports, "It’s time for Paris Hilton to share the spotlight — with her mom! Kathy Hilton has revealed to friends that she has a cameo in Ben Stiller’s new summer comedy, Tropic Thunder — playing Tom Cruise’s wife.

“She filmed last winter and didn’t even tell her kids because she wanted to surprise them,” a set insider tells In Touch, adding that Kathy had a blast working with one of the biggest movie stars in the world. “She raved about Tom,” says the insider. “She said he was so warm and friendly and made her very comfortable.”

Kathy, 49, also did some daytime television as well and the report notes that she shot a few episodes of The Young and the Restless right after filming Tropic Thunder.
