Paris Hilton Visits Africa

When Paris Hilton got out of prison, she promised to become a new person, to take up charity and go to Africa. Well, we cannot say that the socialite renounced on her party girl habits and neither that she has become a better person (but the good is relative), but Paris Hilton surely went to Africa.

The hotel heiress accompanied her new boyfriend, Benji Madden and his band Good Charlotte in Africa, and no matter how relative is everything, her visit there is definitely not charitable. Anyway, she kept her word.

Both Good Charlotte and Paris Hilton did their best: the band performed at My Coke Fest 2008, while Hilton demonstrated again that she was blond. Wanting to prove that she was an Africa-fan, she used as an argument: “I love Africa in general - South Africa and West Africa, they are both great countries.”

Oops! Well, now, let’s see the bright side: at least South Africa is indeed a country.

Afterwards, Paris arranged for a party to celebrate…well, her. Benji Madden manifested a bout of altruism and let his sweetheart be in the spotlight. The Johannesburg party, which was organized in short notice, was a success, judging from the fans enthusiasm when Paris left the VIP section and declared that she “loved South Africa, the accent and everyone.”

After their Africa visit, Hilton and band head for the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Turkey.
