Hilton Picks Winner, Dances And Leaves

Millionaire heiress Paris Hilton, who came to Turkey to participate in a beauty pageant, did what she does best; smiled, looked cute, danced a bit and left Friday without making any difference to the lives of most ordinary Turks.

After participating in the Miss Turkey 2008 pageant as a member of the jury Thursday night, she left on a 8.05 a.m. flight to Düsseldorf. The Doðan news agency reported that she took a sample of Turkish newspapers before leaving.

The crown was placed on the head of the winner, Leyla Lydia Tuðutlu, by none other than Hilton herself.

Popular belly dancer Asena invited Hilton to join her while she was performing at the event and the two women shared the floor while dancing. After the pageant, Hilton went to a nightclub.

Reports say Hilton will come again soon to promote her sportswear and jewelry brand. The only person whose life might change a bit after the Hilton visit is that of Turkish model Nilay Dorsay, who told all who would listen that she was more beautiful than Hilton and could not understand why so many people liked the heiress.
